These are some of my favourite artists but of course there are many more, I cant list them all here at once, I hope you can find individuals to follow and take inspiration form as that is what drew me to starting 3D Environment design initially.Īfter analyzing 3d Environments in their perfect conditions I wanted to see how they would compare when in use, so I went to a friend of mine who owned a game developed by Bungie (who I have mentioned before) called Destiny 2 and will take pictures as I go along and write about how the environments hold up in real time.įirst picture worthy scene! Thereis a large focus on a type of “digital space” in this game with much of the environments having a “digital simulation theme” so theres a lot of cubic shapes and floating metal structures which is very interesting but also kind of drawn out. The consistency between his works is what I find most appealing.įinally is Soo A Hong, Who designs intricate and detailed structures and interiors, the level of polish on her work is astounding and goes to show what can be accomplished by such a focus on minute details in a rather large piece. Second is Andrea Oriolo, although his work isnt environment based it follows set themes very well with each piece following a set of its own rules. All his work draws from some other source and each setting feels different from the last, the ability to make so many unique concepts is why I follow his progress. I wanted to make a post about some of my favourite artists and designers so here goes!įirstly Sung Choi, Who is a senior Concept Artist, his work has always inspired me due to the huge difference between his pieces.
